The Posting Schedule

.... A common mistake with new bloggers is that their zeal can lead to overkill. They'll spend so much time in writing and posting new material that they'll quickly burn themselves out, as well as overwhelming their readers with far too many articles in a short space of time. They must temper their zeal with an under- standing that less is more, and try to achieve a pace that is realistic for everyone.
.
....
New blog articles should not be posted too frequently. By their very nature they invite participation and discussion, which takes time. Questions will emerge, point and counter-point must be considered, and examples will offer greater clarity or call for further elaboration. Readers must interact with the material, pray about it, apply it and assimilate the message in a way that connects them with Jesus Himself, if life-changing results are expected to follow. And isn’t learning the entire point behind teaching? So adequate time must be allowed for this.
.
.... But if new articles are posted too frequently, the older ones will become lost in a hurried shuffle and their full potential may never be realized. Readers may gain head knowledge yet fall short of actually connecting with the Lord. Also, they may feel that their voice of response is being shut out, because we've moved on. A sense of closure will not be reached in those discussions, participants will burn themselves out, and they will soon stop following the ministry entirely. The zealous effort behind such frequent postings would prove counter-productive.
.
....
Therefore, new articles should never be posted more often than twice a week.
