.... 'Encounter' is a very dynamic word when applied to our relationship with the Lord. Because it is a single word, it will also be much easier for readers to remember and tell their friends about. The dynamic simplicity of this word will enhance the ministry approach because it will resonate with people and stay in their minds.

.... Along this same line exists a further possibility. As it happens, Nancy and I already own the actual domain name 'encounter.com', which we purchased in 2002. We would have to talk about this further, but we might consider it as an ‘alias’ for this blog. In other words, readers would simply need to type in: http://encounter.com and it would take them straight to this blog. And because 'encounter.com' is even simpler than 'encounter.blogspot.com' it would make the blog even easier to remember, and the ministry would be more effective for the same reason.

.... (As an example of an alias in use, trying clicking on http://amggrace.org, and then click on http://amggrace.blogspot.com. They should both take you to exactly the same website, and you'd never realize there was a technical distinction.)
